Patterns & Tooling Built for reliable use.

Sand casting patterns and tooling built to perform in real foundry environments. Precise, durable, and aligned to your production workflow.

  • Small to large format builds
  • CNC, additive, or hybrid construction
  • Materials selected for geometry, quantity, and process
  • Prototype through production tooling

Processes we support

We manufacture pattern and tooling components for a range of sand and casting workflows, using a mixture of 3D printing and CNC technologies. All tooling is produced to your specifications or your foundry’s standards.

Green Sand Tooling

Tooling manufactured for green sand workflows, from prototype patterns to production-intent matchplates.

What we manufacture

  • Split patterns (cope & drag)
  • Matchplates
  • Coreboxes
  • Loose pieces
  • Pattern duplicates and repairs

Production considerations

  • Expected production volume
  • Sand abrasion exposure
  • Mounting format (matchplate vs loose)
  • Required dimensional stability
  • Repair vs duplicate strategy

No-Bake (Airset) Tooling

Tooling manufactured for resin-bonded sand molds and cores, including large split patterns and core sets.

What we manufacture

  • Large split patterns
  • Coreboxes and core sets
  • Gating boards (when specified)

Production considerations

  • Pattern size and handling weight
  • Core complexity
  • Number of pours expected
  • Coating requirements
  • Storage conditions

Investment Casting Tooling Support

We manufacture pattern masters and tooling components used in investment casting workflows.

What we manufacture

  • Pattern masters for silicone tooling
  • CNC machined masters
  • Tooling components and fixtures

Production considerations

  • Surface finish expectations
  • Silicone tooling compatibility
  • Wax injection cycles
  • Detail retention requirements

Lost Foam Patterns

EPS foam patterns and assemblies manufactured for lost foam workflows.

What we manufacture

  • EPS foam patterns
  • Cluster assemblies (when specified)

Production considerations

  • Foam density
  • Cluster layout
  • Handling & shipping risk
  • Pour quantity

From small components to large tooling

We support sand casting tooling at a wide range of scales, from small pattern components to large-format split patterns and matchplates.

If you’re unsure whether your project is “the right size” for us, send the CAD and requirements, and we’ll confirm fit and recommend a practical build approach.

FAQ

Do you design patterns?

We manufacture tooling to your specifications or your foundry’s standards. If your foundry has requirements for tooling format, mounting, or deliverables, we can build to those requirements.

Can you include gating?

Yes, when gating features are in your submitted CAD.

What file formats do you accept?

STEP, Parasolid, IGES, STL, and most standard CAD exchange formats.

What sizes can you handle?

Small tooling components through large-format split patterns and matchplates (project-dependent). If you’re unsure, send the CAD and we’ll confirm fit.

Can you ship directly to our foundry?

Yes. We can deliver to your team or directly to the foundry, including basic packaging considerations for fragile tooling when required.

Ready to discuss your tooling requirements?

Send your CAD and process details, we’ll confirm fit and define deliverables before anything moves forward.

No obligation. No sales pressure.
